Totally not into these kinds of stories, but it was a book club pick and I decided to give it a try. I read it in two days only because I had to stop...OMG! .Drama! Drama! Drama! Page turner with you constantly talking to the characters...Jade get it together....Malachi if you truly love her, be patient....Really Melissa, get a life...Aaliyah, you need to stop, you just his baby's mama... Nako did this!...The only thing I was puzzled about was the outcome of the Underground Trial. Since this was my first time reading this author's work, I'm sure I've missed something.Product details

It was really good, I love this different take of writing that you're trying... Even though your books have always been the bomb. I really liked this one, I'm glad jade was able to overcome her obstacles and I'm glad Chi didn't give up on her!!
I was thrilled to see this book. To be able to read about someone from The Underworld. Malachieve was a stand up guy. I was a little upset with Jade until I really began to understand hee story. I'm glad Jade finally allowed Chi to love her. Waiting patiently for the story of Demi, Roberto aka Papa, and the baby..
I like this author from the Connect Wife Series with Farren and Christian Knight. I am familiar with the Underworld when it was introduced at the end of the Connect Wife Series. Like one reader stated, I was so confused at the beginning of this book with all the characters and the storyline. Maybe it was needed but I did not get it. As far as the Malachi and Jade relationship I see where the author flip the script and have the man chasing the woman. But, Jade was getting on my nerve. You stayed in a loveless marriage with an abusive husband because you thought it made your daughter happy. News flash your daughter was not happy and your husband did not show any affection toward her and the say part is that you knew it. The cold and hot feelings you showed Malachi was unbelievable to me even in the end. I am looking forward to reading the story of the other Underworld characters. And I like that the author is making it one book for each character.
Emotional rollercoaster!!! This stand alone had me so wrapped up, gasping, oh my godding and everything else. I'm excited to get to know all of the other characters of the underworld more in depth like I have grown to love Malachi & jade (even tho she had me in suspense the whole damn book). I love how the titles of Nako's books are consistently intertwined throughout from beginning to end! Great read!!! I started really reading again after the connects wife series, Nako will always be my number one...you go girl!!!!!
I know Nako says that people say she take to long to tell a story. Technically NOT. Her stories are more than a movie, her stories be that leg shaking cause you held your pee for so long cause the book is just that damn good you can't out it down. That can't sleep 3am still reading good. NAKO you did your thing again. Thanks for being the great Author you are and continually give me great books to read.....

EVERYTHING. (Must read)
I'm an avid reader, I enjoy reading different genres and discovering new authors but I have yet to find an author that can feel me with such pleasure from their stories as Nako. I don't have to worry about reading the same bland story line, the characters are well developed and their lifestyles are actually plausible. This story, with Jade and Malachi, has me bewildered. There was drama and heartache but not what I expected. However, I should have known because from the very first book I realized NaKoreya Roberson does not do predictable. I'm even lost how to put in words how well I enjoyed this book. I can say this it was good from start to finish, it will have you emotional and you're bound to become emotional. Male or female you're going to relate to the story personally or indirectly.
I personally love this book when you know you know, and Malachi knew Jade was the one. Yeah you could call her weak or wishy washy but her mental was messed up a long time ago and never dealt with so I can understand that. Loved Malachi the moment he opened his mouth, didn't like how he led Aaliyah on but you can't put that all on him. She knew that he was not committed to what they had like she wanted everyone to believe, told her from his own mouth on numerous occasions. His sister Melissa was a trip her and their dad were very judgmental concerning him and his relationship with Jade and I wasn't with that cause I'm team Jade & Malachi....Patient, Understanding & Loving = Malachi dealing with Jade.
