This is a short story – both in length and time elapsed within the story line. There really isn’t any time to develop a relationship between the heroine and the two warriors who are the heroes. Maybe the Darkon race have one of those “oh yeah, that’s the one!” buttons but the heroine figures she’s just available – sort of a hook-up on the fly. We don’t know, it’s pretty much never discussed.The story starts with our heroine stuck in a cell with a bunch of other, mostly non-human, females who are assuming they are in for a Bad End. Down the hall are several Darkon warriors the guards have been having a great time beating on. Some of the females tell her that sex can change these guys into supercharged warriors who can get them all out of there. Then they all look at her…
So she’s the one who sneaks out of the cell and into the one holding the Darkon. One of the three has succumbed to his injuries and the other two are pretty much beaten to a pulp. You can pretty much figure out what happens next – sex, escape, sex, rescue, etc. After the escape she keeps trying to leave – after all, they’re not really interested in her, right? Especially when she figures out that the two heroes are more than friends.
So she sneaks off – jumping into yet another dangerous situation and being rescued yet again. And finally they have a little talk…
It was an okay read-once, but I plan to check out Legend Beyond the Stars and see what the author can do with a full novel.

It had all the ingredients for a great romance book. The bad news is the story was short, it would have been a great book. The author had the characters and romance outstanding sex scenes, to bad to waste on a short story . 3stars for the author.
There is plenty of sex in this and a lot of action. I can't say it is brilliant but I enjoyed the quick easy read it provided and sometimes that can be enough. Whether it is enough to read more I am not sure about. It is well-written, the men are very appealing and sexy but if you want more of a story to connect with then probably not.
A really good story but a little bit too short story. I wish it can be a long novel instead of series that need to wait or read in orders.
The story begins as a typical alien abduction. merciless aliens etc. The heroine, sneaks into the holding room where her saviors are being held. Then the confusion begins to reign until she awakens them and they eventually save all of the ships prisoners. To confusing for my tastes, but I would not discourage anyone from reading it and deciding for themselves.
Fran is a human prisoner on an alien planet. To escape, she sacrifices herself to two warriors who awaken only to lust and sex. I said sacrifice, but let's be honest, she willingly did this once she got a look at them. Definitely wish it was longer even though I only paid .99 for it. Would have liked to seen where they could go with this trio.

I loved the beginning of this book.
I love the potential it has.
However, I could not believe the ending! It felt so rushed. One minute I'm overjoyed with the potential of them getting to know eachother and then "poof!" the book is over with a half-hearted ending that left me clawing at the screen of my kindle BEGGING for there to have been more.
In my sleepy 2am state, what I am trying to say is "This was a good book, but it could have been GREATTTTTAWESOME if there had just been more."
Still going to give it 4/5 stars and I hope the author revisits these characters.
I knew this was a short read but although I enjoyed the story I found it to be confusing. Apparently this novella happens after a previous book.
Fran along with several other women has been captured by aliens, they have no idea what the aliens plan but the women who are removed from the cell, never return. The women come up with a plan to help
the Darkon Warriors shackled in the next cell. Her cell mates tell Fran she is the only one who can help the warriors. So she finds herself entering the cell to help the warriors in the hope that they can free all the prisoners.
My confusion comes from not knowing anything about the Darkon's. There is a reference to war being declared on the Darkon planet by the Supreme Leader of the aliens but the only other info is that the Darkon's are fearsome warriors.
The story is so short that any more info would give the plot away, I will say this is a very sensual sexual story. I will read the lead book, Legend Beyond the Stars to see if I can understand who the Darkon's are but I did enjoy this story.
