I love it when I find another book in this series, it is like being reunited with old friends. The stories have a mystery that isn't easily solved but the best part is the characters and their interactions and friendships. I love that Teddy is an older lady who has a small place on the beach in an out of the way small town. I would love to be Teddy, she is who I aspire to be, an active gardener and beach walker and friend to all as well as an avid baker and cook - with a little romance thrown in for good measure. An ideal life except of course for the dead bodies that continually turn up. There are some editing issues but the run on sentences fit somehow (it's how I talk), a realistic rambling laid back story. A pleasant read, I enjoyed it immensely.PS I also like Amanda Glenn's other series the Taylor Books.

I am reAding this series in order. I enjoy them very much, especially the setting...the Oregon coast. Like a virtual trip to the beach!
I've been enjoying this series of Teddy books. For the most part I feel the pace is good and these books are a quick and easy read. I do wish that the author would stop using a particular "word", which is emmmm. What the heck does it mean? It's a word I've never used nor heard used by anyone. It's annoying and stops me in my tracks, interrupting the flow of the writing. I understand that it represents a vocal sound, but seriously, I've never used it! Stop! Storyline moves well.
Amanda Glenn has done it again. They Call It A Murder is an intriguing story that adds depth to some old friends, and poses some interesting questions.
I love all the Teddy books. The characters are fun and the setting is wonderful. I can't wait for the next book!
In between tending her garden, eating at Petals and feeding Rob lovely little dinners, she
finds time to find body parts on the beach and give Sonny BIG clues to the current unsolved
murder in the area! This is a delightful romp among the local characters, the bears, and the
truly dangerous with alot of delicious cookies thrown in. You can almost smell them baking!
